When Highland Palms was created in 1972, it was promoted as a country club and the selection of amenities provided reflects that description.

One of the key elements of the development is the beautiful nine-hole executive golf course and the associated golf clubhouse, which includes a putting green, a pitching green, and an outdoor driving net.

Recently we added a Pickelball Court located in our RV Lot.  

The other main focus of the development is on the main clubhouse and recreation center which includes:

  • A heated swimming pool
  • Spa
  • Sauna
  • Fitness center
  • Library
  • Card Room
  • Billiards Room
  • Bingo facilities
  • A stage for presentations and entertainment
  • Barbeque area
  • Small conference room
  • Large full kitchen and bar area
  • A small, cozy lounge for reading or socializing
  • A sun deck
  • Veterans Memorial
  • Mail Room
  • And an outdoor picnic area.

For Members interested in travel, the community also includes an outdoor storage area for recreational vehicles, boats, and related items.

In addition, while not an amenity, the community has created a memorial for residents who served in the armed forces of the United States — the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Army Air Corps/U.S. Air force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines — and allied forces.
